Despite of having a coastline for beaches that are perfect for lazing around, Kenya has much more to offer to its visitors that inspires each and every one of them, without allowing them to sit still. Experiences starting from landscapes to glaciers to tropical reefs are a few things that provide a playground for all the travelers who visit here, while the intoxicating cultures will keep surprising you at each and every turn.

        1. Climb The Mount Kenya

Mt Kenya’s trekking terrain is undoubtedly tough and beautiful at the same time. It is considered even more tougher to summit than Mount Kilimanjaro. It provides extraordinary sights that will leave you mesmerized forever.

Mount Kenya is also known as an extinct volcano which has its own UNESCO World Heritage Site preserved for various park activities.

Tip: Best time to summit the mountain is during the months of June to October.

Kenya is the birth place of Safaris which in Swahili means “journey”. The wildlife of Kenya is vast both in numbers and variety of species.  The country’s iconic place for safari is none other than “Maasai Mara” where sightseeing of all these species is too common. It is also the well-known game reserve of the nation and is home to The Big Five which literally includes Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant.

Additionally, The Great Migration takes place here from the month of July to October.

Tip: Masai Mara can be visited any time of the year. But if you merely want to witness the Great Migration then July to October.

Kenya Lodge

Experience luxury by taking a stay in the Ol Donyo Lodge which is set in Africa’s premier wildlife destination. This lodge is filled with suites and villas that come with a rooftop terrace where guests can get a chance to sleep under the bed of stars which also has a private swimming pool attached to it.

What makes this lodge unique is that it is owned by the local Masai Mara tribe. This was an initiative that was taken where the locals were responsible for the protection and preservation of wildlife.

Tip: Visit during the dry season – June to October.

        5. Explore Mombasa

Mombasa

Mombasa is the second largest city of Kenya and is known for its beauty which makes it a cultural and tourist hub.
