Earlier this month, the cabinet of UAE along with its Vice-President had announced rules for the ease of tourists coming in the country with regards to their visas. These visa facilitations were made not only for the tourists but also for the residents and employees within the country.
The Cabinet approved a legislative package that also included a two year residency system for students in the UAE after the completion of their university along with overstaying passengers to be exempted from “no entry stamps”.
The rules that were declared were given a further boost on Sunday, 15th of July 2018, where the decisions made by the cabinet including the dates of their implementations. According to sources, tourists under the age of 18 years, traveling during the summer months of the UAE, will be exempted from paying any visa fees. This visa fee exemption will only be application between 15th of July to 15th of September, every year. These decisions are also followed by the exemption of transit visa fees for the first 48 hours from any of the UAE airports that has been welcomed by the people.
Tabeer Tourism, a Destination Management Company has introduced express tourist visas for 14 days that would cost AED 350, followed by a 90 days single entry visas for Indians and Pakistani nationalities at the rate of AED 800.
With these exemptions of visas, residents who live without their families will be able to call their families in the UAE, at a cheaper and more affordable rate. Though a lot of residents are wanting to go back home for the celebration of festivals, but now brining in their relatives will get easier.
The free visas during the summer months are also said to collide with the European summer holidays which means, if you’re a traveler planning to come into the UAE, then you might get a chance to enter for free.
According to sources, the number of passengers traveling through the UAE airports have nearly increased to up to 32.8 Million in the first quarter 2018 and are still said to rise.
